Plan a Destination WeddingThe one thing that many of the people who choose to have a destination wedding have in common is that they tend to be older. After having attended several traditional weddings, they decide on something a little different. If you are thinking of having a destination wedding, the location will likely be a good distance away; this will naturally reduce the guest list – which could be beneficial if you are working on a budget. With a destination wedding you will likely be more focused on the big picture as opposed to the details. The traditional wedding finds brides worried over the ceremony and reception. With a destination wedding - some of the more exotic locations may have only two florists, one caterer, and three photographers. With a destination wedding you have to let go of these details and accept things as they are. Couples tend to view the event as a fun-filled get-away - where they're getting with only a few guests to help them celebrate this most beautiful time of their lives. One of the best things about the destination wedding is the fact that you usually end up with a wedding, honeymoon and a family reunion vacation all wrapped up in one. But there is a disadvantage in the cost. You will need to give your guests plenty of notice so that they can arrange to be gone and to budget for the trip. There may even be some instances where the bride and groom may end up picking up the tab for part or all of the cost. Think carefully before you plan a destination wedding, they are exotic but not always practical. Plan a Destination Wedding |
