The New Fad in Weddings

No longer are traditional weddings considered to be "The wedding to have." The hottest fad in weddings today is the themed wedding. You want your wedding to reflect who you are as a couple-unique and special. If a traditional wedding seems a little on the boring side to you, a theme wedding may be just the thing you're looking for.

Depending on the theme you choose, you can live out your fantasies of living in another time or another place - or in a completely new way. Whether you like the western flavor or romantic strolls on the beach, seashells or fairytales, the most important aspect in choosing a theme is that it be something that you consider to be romantic and fun. Remember, your wedding day will be cherished for a lifetime and it should be exactly the way you want it to be.

While considering which theme you want, you should consider the time of year that the wedding will take place. For summer, a beach wedding would be a great idea, as would a winter wonderland wedding be good for the colder months. Another important consideration is that the whole wedding party is okay with the theme and wedding attire that you choose. If you would like a fairytale wedding, but one of your bride’s maids does not feel comfortable wearing fairy wings, it may not work out well.

Themed weddings are a great idea, but at times they can be a little more difficult to pull of than the traditional wedding.
